Romantic Red for the Valentine Bride

Red has long been a symbol of eternal love and romance. Carrying more meaning than any other color on the spectrum, red is the primary symbol for life, love and passion.

With so many colors in the wedding palette spotlight, the color red often falls off the charts as the color of choice until Valentine's Day approaches. Then, the color is placed front and center as Valentine's Day brides create fantastic weddings built around this traditional theme. What better way to say "I do" than with the color that speaks of romance?

Luckily for all the Valentine brides out there, there are so many wonderful ways to incorporate this passionate color into your romantic wedding theme starting with the most romantic red accessory of all: roses. Long-stemmed, petite, one dozen, two dozen, as a stand alone color, or as two complimentary colors, there are so many ways to incorporate them as decorative accents. You will rarely be stuck for ideas when you look at roses.

As chair or pew decorations for your church or wedding service, you can create heart-shaped silk rose decorations with white tulle, gold ribbons or any other complementary ribbon that fits your theme. Silk roses can also adorn your ring bearer pillow, your guest book, and your cake, leaving no surface untouched.

For wedding favors, the door is wide open to choose heart-shaped favors such as candles, chocolates, or glass candle holders etched with roses on their surface.
