Far Out Photograph Locations

Today, photographers try to capture the spirit of the bride and groom by placing them in settings where their personalities can shine through. To aid in this quest, bridal couples and photographers are constantly on the look out for new and interesting photograph ideas. Here are just a few ideas to get those creative juices flowing.

If nature is something both you and your newly wed spouse actively enjoy, why not take to the outdoors to snap your wedding memories? Photos of you in your wedding finery, canoeing on a lake, climbing up a rocky face, or riding down a windy road, bring to light your fun yet fashionable love of your surroundings.

If you have a more urban bent, you might want to visit some locations within the city. Old buildings, especially of the brick variety, make for a wonderful backdrop, especially in black and white or sepia tones. Choose one that bears the mark of a little graffiti for a particularly artful flare.

Why not head to a pool hall to capture your moment? With deliberately low-lighting, tiffany lamps, gleaming polished wood and bright green or red tabletops, nothing says non-traditional like the bride lining up the eight ball.

Old and vintage trains can make another wonderful backdrop, as can the middle of a busy city street, the backlights of a city skyline at night or other urban haunts that call to you.

Weddings today are all about capturing the essence of your individuality and what makes you special as a couple. Take the time before your wedding to find those special locations that will speak to you years later as to who you were the day you got married and capture that essence on film.
