Bouquet Display

If great flowers are important to you, make sure they are prominently featured, not just as you walk down the aisle, but throughout your day from photographs to the reception.

Start your floral theme with invitations that are embossed with the flower of your choice. Both pretty and formal, your floral invitations will set the tone for the rest of your wedding. A flower like a daisy suggests a more casual affair, while calla lilies or roses suggest a more formal affair.

As well as the usual floral displays on the altar or surrounding your wedding ceremony venue, floral decorations can be added to the ribboned backs of chairs, or intertwined them with the ribboned decorations at the end of your pews.

Your wedding photographs are yet another way that your floral theme can be emphasized. Beautiful floral photographs have an artful quality to them that turn an ordinary posed portrait into a brilliant piece of artistry. When choosing your photographer, make sure he or she not only has exceptional abilities in portrait work, but also in working with props and lighting to highlight your flowers and those of your attendants to ensure they are prominently featured.

Once both the vows and the photographs have been taken, flowers can continue to make their presence known in ways that are both beautiful and understated as you and your groom walk through the doors of your floral themed reception. As decorations embroidered or stamped on your linen or paper tablecloths and napkins, your bridal bouquet flowers of choice can also be displayed throughout your reception venue as decorative accessories, on your guest tables as centerpieces, stamped on stationary or place setting cards, decorating favor boxes, or integrated with your cake topper as a decoration for your wedding cake.

Once the reception has started your bouquet can often get left behind or become cumbersome to work around. By utilizing easy to find bouquet clamps or cradles you can simply and quickly incorporate all of the bridal party bouquets as part of the head table decorations.

With so many flowers and so many colors to choose from, picking just one flower to centre your theme on won't be easy, but it will definitely be worth it.
