Bad Chair Day
When planning the look of the reception, a wedding accessory many brides overlook is the one wedding accessory that can really pull a reception venue together, chairs.
While most venues provide chairs, you must remember that unless they are a venue whose expertise lies specifically in weddings, their chairs are multipurpose. They have a look appropriate for conferences, business meetings, Christmas parties and Bar Mitzvahs; and may not have quite the level of elegance your wedding demands.
Chair covers are one way to solve the dilemma. With a variety of fabrics and colors to choose from, they are the simplest and most economical solution to a bad chair day. Chair covers can be further enhanced with an elegant sash or bow.
But sometimes dreams overtake your brain and your budget. In which case, you can always hire replacement chairs. There are a wide variety to choose from. From basic ballroom to stacking chairs, one can even choose a basic folding white wooden chair for an outdoor wedding or for a clean, unpretentious, unified elegance that won’t break the bank.
The same care and concern that goes into choosing a wedding favor for your guests to take home, should be the same care and concern that you take in the chairs they will sit on. Don’t be the elegant bride with the plastic orange chairs. Save yourself from a bad chair day by really looking at the chairs your venue offers and decide for yourself if they fit the look you long for.
