Assistant Product Coordinator

Weddingstar Inc. is actively seeking an energetic, passionate Assistant Product Coordinator to assist our in-house Product Development Team in our Dunmore, Alberta headquarters. This position is permanent and full time.

As part of the product development team your primary duties will include:

    - Assisting the Product Development Team to achieve all objectives from sourcing new product to the planning, development, procurement and presentation for sale of new product on the website.
    - Assist in the hunt for hot new products and provide support for the presentation of proposed products to senior management.
    - Research and advise online merchandising – assisting with the planning of product placement within the market.
    Assist with the collection and maintenance of product specifications for proposal and purchase purposes.

Qualifications:

    - Superlative communication skills - you must be able to effectively propose, convince, and describe with enthusiasm and accuracy.
    - Methodical organization and compilation skills – you must be able to maintain well organized, current and accurate data and to present that data in different formats as required.
    - Strict attention to minute detail – you must be able to ensure the accuracy of product data and development processes.
    - Responsive to shifting timelines – you must be able to respond to changes in deadlines and adjust priorities in order to meet business objectives.
    - Strong Microsoft Excel skills – you must be proficient with data management using Excel.
    - Willingness to become an expert in SEO and PPC.
    - Experience with E-Commerce would be a valuable asset, but is not required.

Personalization Assistant

Weddingstar Inc. is seeking full-time and part-time Personalization Assistants to work in our Medicine Hat, AB location. Day, Night and Evening shifts available. Personalization Assistants are responsible for but not limited to: picking orders, small order packaging, personalization of orders (i.e. embroidery, engraving, napkin stamping, cake topper painting, glass printing etc.) Applicants must be able to work in a team environment. Experience is not necessary as on-site training is provided.

Weddingstar Inc. is looking for talented Graphic Designers to join our creative team in our Dunmore, AB. location. Weddingstar offers a unique local opportunity for designers wishing to focus exclusively on wedding and gift related product design as well as creative design for the Weddingstar brand online and in print.

Qualifications:

    - Diploma or Degree in Visual Communications or Graphic Design
    - Minimum 2 years of design experience
    - Excellent design capabilities and typographic skills
    - Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Indesign, Photoshop, Acrobat Pro)
    - Ability to work well within a team environment and meet strict deadlines
    - Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work in a productive manner
    - Experience with product design, print production and/or illustration considered an asset
