Sales & Marketing Assistant – Online Accounts

Weddingstar is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual for our Sales & Marketing department. The Sales & Marketing Assistant (Online Accounts) will support senior Sales & Marketing staff in completing order entry, issuing credits and replacements, online account management, inventory management including arranging shipments and the tracking and reconciliation of shipments.

This is a permanent, full-time opportunity working in our Dunmore, Alberta office setting.

The successful applicant will have the following:

    - High school diploma
    - A diploma or degree in business related field would be an asset
    - Knowledge of online sales platforms (eg. Amazon, Etsy, Ebay) would be beneficial
    - Minimum of 1 to 2 years experience in an administrative support position
    - Proficiency in Office 365 with intermediate level experience in Excel
    - Attention to detail
    - Critical thinking ability to solve problems
    - Ability to prioritize workload to meet timelines
    - Ability and desire to take ownership of assigned tasks follow through to completion
    - Regularly seek out and suggest innovations for process improvements

Qualifications:

    - Diploma or Degree in Visual Communications or Graphic Design
    - Minimum 2 years of design experience
    - Excellent design capabilities and typographic skills
    - Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Indesign, Photoshop, Acrobat Pro)
    - Ability to work well within a team environment and meet strict deadlines
    - Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work in a productive manner

Personalization Assistant

Weddingstar Inc. is looking for full-time Personalization Assistants to work in our Dunmore, AB location.

Night Shift: Monday to Thursday, 3:30 PM to 2:00 AM Day Shift Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM.

Personalization Assistants are responsible for but not limited to: picking orders, small order packaging, personalization of orders (i.e. embroidery, engraving, napkin stamping, cake topper painting, glass printing etc.) Applicants must be able to work in a team environment. Experience is not necessary as on-site training is provided.

Digital Designer

Weddingstar Inc. is looking for a full-time Digital Designer to join our creative team in our Dunmore, AB. location. As a Digital Designer you will be responsible for our personalized product website previews and coordination of product design assets and automation production files. You will work closely with our design manager, other designers and programming teams to ensure work is accurate and technically correct.

Qualifications:

    - Diploma or Degree in Web Design, Visual Communications or Graphic Design
    - Minimum 3 years of web or design production experience
    - Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Indesign, Photoshop) and spreadsheets
    - Meticulous with design details, accuracy and technical requirements
    - Extremely organized, manage large volume of projects and related files in a productive manner
    - Ability to work well within a team environment and meet strict deadlines
    - Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
