I was so scared to wash these. I only got a few for a celebratory graduation dinner for my dad, but I was terrified the paint would peel off as soon as soap and water touched it. BUT to my absolute relief, none of the paint came off, and I gave them thorough hand washings. Now they take up a commemorative place on the living room mantle, still good as new after use and multiple washes.
